What is JUVÉDERM XC?

JUVÉDERM XC can smooth unwanted wrinkles and restore natural contours to several areas of the face, such as:

• The lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines)
• Vertical lines in the area just below the nose and above the upper lip, the corners of the mouth, and the area downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline.

Am I a good candidate for JUVÉDERM XC?

Most people are good candidates for JUVÉDERM XC. Exceptions are those with bad allergies or anyone with an allergy to lidocaine. JUVÉDERM XC is the first FDA approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can produce visible results in persons of color.

How long is recovery from JUVÉDERM XC?

You may experience pain, tenderness, temporary redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, and bumps at the injection sites. Studies have shown that these are usually mild to moderate in nature and clear up on their own in 7 days or less.
