Are your cheekbones uneven, or do you wish they were higher and more prominent? Then you may want to consider cheek
What are cheek implants?
Dr. Sayeg will make an incision in the upper gum line of your mouth and insert the appropriately sized implant to give your cheeks a fuller and higher appearance. The ultimate result will provide an enhanced facial contour and in appropriate cases, a more youthful appearance.
Am I a good candidate for cheek implants?
If you are unhappy with the appearance of your chin or cheeks, please consult with Dr. Sayeg regarding your expected outcome of your surgery.
How long is recovery from cheek implant surgery?
There can be a considerable amount of swelling associated with cheek augmentation; somewhat like that associated with the removal of wisdom teeth. Most of the swelling subsides during the first week, though there may still be persistent swelling for another week or two. This will subside and the implant will stabilize and fix in place. The sutures that close the incision site inside the mouth are absorbable and do not require removal. Dr. Sayeg advises patients to be on a liquid diet for the first day and on soft, smooth foods for the next day or two to avoid irritation around the incision site.
